Monsoon arrives in India six days ahead of its normal schedule

Six days ahead of its due date, the southwest monsoon has covered the entire country. According to the India Meteorological Department, the monsoon has advanced further into the north Arabian Sea, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. As a result, the southwest monsoon covered the entire country, according to the IMD.

A year ago, when the monsoon descended upon the country, the entire country was covered by the 13th of July. Over the next five days, Odisha, Gujarat, Konkan, and Goa are likely to experience higher rainfall activity. Most parts of the country are likely to experience a normal monsoon this year.
